Goals: Citizenship
This is one of the craziest things in government we have found. It seams
the only ones who understand what the oath of citizenship means is those
who are not citizens.
We believe it makes sense to change the rules, lets modify our oath of
citizenship and teach each child in our schools the oath of citizenship
every year starting at 5 years old until the age of 18.
Our suggestion for the “Oath of Responsibilities of American
Citizenship”
The only thing in this world that is priceless is our lives. We each are
unique and irreplaceable, protect and respect your life as well as the
life of all others.
I will learn, obey, and defend the Constitution and the laws of the
United States of America as well as the state laws of the state I choose
to reside in. It is my duty as a citizen to report those who choose to
break the laws to the proper authorities.
If required by law I will serve my country in the armed forces.
If I disagree with the law, I will work within the law to change those
laws.
All people are equal under the law. I will treat every person no matter
their race, color, or gender with respect and understanding, and expect
to be treated the same. I will not tolerate people or organizations who
advocate otherwise.
I will work to my best abilities to be a productive citizen by receiving
a proper education.
It is my right as a citizen to express my opinion, but not force my
opinion on others. I will work to understand and respect the opinions of
others.
